【Title】High Side Voltage Control of Synchronous Generators in Receiving-end Power System of China Southern Power Grid to Improve Short-term Voltage Stability
【摘要】受端电网的短期电压稳定问题正引起广泛关注,同步发电机的动态无功储备需要被充分激活和利用,以达到提高短期电压稳定性的目的。首先分析了高压侧电压控制(highsidevoltagecontrol,HSVC)的原理和相关参数设置;随后讨论了发电厂层次的HSVC参数设置,并在简化的小型受端系统中进行了仿真验证;最后将所提参数设置方法应用于南方电网大系统仿真,验证了HSVC对提高受端电网短期电压稳定性的有效性,有助于解决受端电网面临的短期电压稳定问题。
【Abstract】The short-term voltage stability problem of receiving-end power systems has caused wide public concern. The dynamic reactive power reserve of synchronous generators needs to be released to the utmost in support of short-term voltage stability. Firstly, the principle and related parameters of high side voltage control (HSVC) are discussed. Secondly, parameter designing of a plant-level HSVC is studied and simulated in a simplified conceptual receiving-end system. Then the results verified in this conceptual system are applied in a simulation analysis on China Southern Power Grid. The performance of HSVC has been demonstrated by the time-domain simulation, therefore, the plant-level HSVC offers an effective approach to improve short-term voltage stability of receiving-end power systems.
