【Abstract】With the development of the microgrid technology, the demand side resources become more and more involved in the operation of power grid. In order to make use of the flexibility of demand side resources, this paper puts forward a control strategy considering customer satisfaction index providing ways for the demand side of microgrid to contribute to peak load regulation of the system. Based on this strategy, taking minimum load curve fluctuation and maximum customer satisfaction as objective function, while the set conditions of electric vehicles and customer load as constraints, a multi-objective demand side control model, in which the electric vehicles, air conditioners and others flexible loads are taken into account simultaneously, is established. In order to adapt to the multidimensional characteristic of this mathematical model, the adaptive chaotic particle swarm optimization (ACPAO) algorithm is applied. With the chaotic optimization feature, this algorithm improves searching speed using adaptive weights. The rapid global optimization ability of the algorithm is proved through case study. The simulation results show that the demand side interactive can combine both customer satisfaction and load shifting need of the grid, maximize the benefits of both sides.
