【Abstract】Bus type of inverter based distributed generation in power flow is based on the control strategy and current limiting characteristic of its inverter. According to the equivalent model of inverter based distributed generation under current limiting status, a continuation power flow calculation of distribution network with inverter based distributed generation is proposed. A judgment part of current limiting state is employed in the proposed method to determine the current limiting distributed generation. If some inverter based distributed generation gets into current limiting state, its bus type and the elements of Jacobi matrix in steps of predictor and corrector, which related to current limited distributed generation should be changed. Finally, do some tests in a typical IEEE33 distribution network to verify the proposed method. The results show the proposed continuation power flow calculation method can reflect the actual operation of distribution network better.
